Razan Al Maghribi behind Nancy Ajram’s victory at the World Music Award

Lebanese artist Razan Al Magribi participated in hosting the World Music Award celebration where she presented the award for Nancy Ajram who took the award this year.


According to the London daily Elaph, Razan who is a member of the judging committee became the spokesperson for the president of the music award festival “Melisa Corken” who has great trust in Razan. Close sources to Razan revealed that Razan had a great role in getting Nancy Ajram to win the music award for 2008.


In a meeting for the judging committee Razan had presented documents on how famous Nancy Ajram is in the Arab world and how fans buy all her albums. The committee was convinced by Razan’s research and gave the award to Nancy Ajram this year.


 It is needless to say that the committee insisted on having Razan perform one of her songs “Shofto o Shafni” (I Saw Him and He Saw Me) which is from her new album. Razan’s album made great sales in Arab countries like Lebanon and Egypt and some of the Gulf countries.


 On the other hand, Razan is receiving many offers from various musical festivals and the last was from Carthage Musical Festival in order to work for the organizing management of the festival. She had also received an offer to present the celebration for the “Tunisian National Day”. Razan was also a presenter at the Dubai Cinema Festival.
