After succeeding in her singing career and entering the acting world, controversial Egyptian singer Ruby has decided to encounter a new experience, which is in the world of fashion.
The singer has signed a contract with an Italian company that specializes in making swimsuits.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Ruby is said to have received a wage of around 1.5 million US dollars for advertising the company’s attire. The advertisements will be shown in Lebanon and across the Arab world.
Ruby has headed to Sharm El Sheikh to film a music video for the song “Al Mani Khair,” also the title of her upcoming album scheduled for release this July.
Ruby’s business manager Sharif Sabri denied circulating rumors that Ruby will be starring in a new film titled “Raqsit Ruby Al Majnooneh” (Ruby’s Crazy Dance).
Ruby said she was “disgusted” by the rumor, prompted by the circulation of distasteful photographs of the star.
Ruby has requested that Sabri produce a new film for her, featuring her music and a number of dance performances to tout her continued success despite the numerous attacks.
