A special ceremony and a press conference mark the start of filming for the Ramadan drama “Khalf Allah”, starring legendary Egyptian actor Nour El Sherif and Jordanian actress Saba Mubarak. The two are working alongside fellow actors Abir Sabri, Midhat Teekhah and Samira Abdel Aziz in the show produced by Ahmad and Hussam Al Mahdi.
According to the Middle East news portal, the press conference was held on the scene of the first filming locations. Director Husni Saleh, who is excited to work with Nour again, is expected to move the set to several places inside and outside of Cairo.
Nour is psyched to play the role of “Khalaf Allah”, which he claims is different from anything he’s done before. He won’t leak any deets about the drama to save it for the Ramadan screen.
Saba is stoked to take center stage next to Nour. His name still brings some street cred, despite his career decline, and the legend of the Egyptian actor lives on.
