A recent shocking discovery has been made regarding the life of one of Egypt’s greatest legends the late Umm Kalthoum. It has been revealed that the singer was secretly married to the Mustafa Ameen cofounder of Al Akhbar Al Youm newspaper, and had lived with him for over 11 years.
The marriage license was found in the position of Egypt’s late president Jamal Abdul Nasser. In a press conference held at Alexandria Library, it was stressed that Umm Kalthoum had married in secret because she wanted to be considered as belonging everyone.
It was added that Umm Kalthoum had revealed her secret marriage to a few of her very close friends and told them that the marriage license is with the late president. Mustafa was considered as one of Umm Kalthoum’s closest journalists who accompanied her everywhere and wrote the most about her.
On a different note, The Egyptian television has announced that the upcoming episode of its popular show “Al Bait Baitak” will be dedicated solely to the thirty-year anniversary of the death of Egypt’s legendary singer.
