Foreign delegations from Russia, France, Spain and Italy arrived Thursday in Sharm el-Sheikh to participate in the Sharm el-Sheikh Youth Theatre International Festival scheduled for January 8-15.
The festival will be held under the supervision of the culture, tourism and youth ministries and South Sinai local authorities.
Head of the culture minister's office Hassan Khalaf said that this festival will send a message to reassure the world that Sharm el-Sheikh is peaceful and secure, adding that the arrival of foreign delegations by way of EgyptAir flights reflects confidence in Egypt's ability to secure its airports and planes.
