Iraqi singing star, Shatha Hassoun, is not exactly known for her humble attitude but the songstress suprised even long-running fans this week when she told reporters that she feels like no one in the entire Arab world can compete with her.
However, it looks like not everyone thinks Shatha is cream of the crop. It emerged this week that the singer has been posing as a fan on her own website to answer back press criticism.
But the First Lady of Iraqi pop is unapologetic: she considers herself to be one of her own fans.
Meanwhile, Shatha admitted that she nearly packed it all in after a particularly miserable break-up recently. But the star bounced back and has got engaged to a unnamed man. The secret fiancé will hopefully take Shatha's 'humility' in his stride!
