Egyptian superstar Sherine Abdel Wahab was devastated by ISIS's latest unspeakable crime, where they beheaded 21 Egyptian Copts in Libya.
The terrorist group released a video Sunday claiming to have killed Egyptian Christians, who were captured in Sirte, Reuters reported.
In solidarity with Christians in Egypt, Sherine posted a Facebook picture of a white cross and crescent on a black background, with the caption, "Oh, God, the most merciful, be merciful to those who have died and give their families patience and fortitude... Make this easier on them dear God... My deepest condolences to my Christian sisters... Long live Egypt despite some people's maliciousness and hate."
Meanwhile, Egypt responded to ISIS by striking their targets in Libya, according to the Guardian. Egyptian warplanes targeted weapons caches and training camps before returning safely.
A statement made by the spokesman for the Armed Forces General Command said the strikes were “to avenge the bloodshed and to seek retribution from the killers.”
