Egyptian actress Shireen Saif El Din has announced her engagement to a young businessman whom she refused to reveal his name until their wedding day. At the same time a similar union occurred between Egyptian singer Angham and music distributor Fahed, brother of Egyptian actress Farah who costarred with Ahmad Zaki in the film "Ard El Khouf" (Land of Fear).
According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, Angham and Fahed had agreed on their engagement when the latter experienced an accident and was put to bed rest. Angham had remained by his side throughout his treatment agreeing not announce their engagement until their wedding day was set.
Shireen was recently married to Egyptian singer Medhat Saleh and had just received a divorce the past three months. Angham's marriage to her previous husband, sound engineer Majdi Kamel, also ended a short while back.
Shireen had returned to her previous husband Midhat Saleh after a divorce that only lasted two weeks, but decided that it was impossible to continue their marriage and decided to finalize their divorce.
In June 2002, she surprised everyone with her unexpected marriage. The wedding, held in a five star hotel in Cairo, took place in complete secrecy, as the party was limited to the couple's family and relatives. The marriage marked the fifth for Midhat Saleh and the second for Shireen.
After rumors started surfacing about Shireen’s pregnancy from Midhat Saleh just four months into their marriage, the couple quickly announced their divorce as per Saif Al Nasr's wish. At the time Shireen remarked that, "Midhat is a great man, and we shared many happy moments, but it's all fate and our four-month marriage must come to an end,” refusing to uncover the reason behind the divorce and denying rumors about her pregnancy. – Albawaba.com
