The emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber Al Sabah, and a businessman are squabbling with the heirs of the late Egyptian star Suad Hosni over three flats rented by the late artist.

Al Jumhuriyyah daily said that the Kuwaiti emir’s lawyer had submitted a request to a South Cairo court demanding the seizure of the contents of a flat in Cairo’s Zamalek neighborhood, which was rented by Suad Hosni.

Moreover, businessman Rolan Albert Tadros has filed a case at Qasr Alnil police station to assert his ownership of the two other flats in the same neighborhood, which Hosni rented for about two decades.

Hosni’s elder sister, Kawthar, filed a case at the same police station saying that she is the only sister of the late actress by same mother, demanding confirmation of her rights in her late sister’s cash and property.

Meanwhile, Suad’s step-sister, Najat Al Saghirah, denied there were any disputes between siblings over their late sister’s flats and said, “Suad’s real legacy cannot be measured in terms of money, as she has left a wealth of performance that delighted every Egyptian and Arab.”

“We are waiting until her body is buried,” added Sagirah – Albawaba.com
