Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred, famous for his hit single "Anti" (You), was scheduled to hold a live performance on the second day of the recent Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha in Dubai alongside singer Mashael, wife of singer Essam Kamal. Due to undisclosed reasons, Saad was refused an entry visa to enter the United Arab Emirates, and his performance was called off.
Sayidaty.net tell us that news reports have suggested that the singer was refused an entry visa due to past complaints against him by journalists, especially the incident where he ran over a Moroccan journalist for simply taking his photos. Saad had also angered the press during a past concert he held in Casablanca, where he arrived two hours late and refused to hold interviews with the press.
It is speculated that due to his bad record with the press and his irresponsible behavior after beginning to be famous has caused concert agents to think twice about featuring him in concerts.
