Syrian actress Solaf Fawakhirji denied rumors that have been spreading about her separation from her husband Syrian actor Wael Ramadan. Talking to Al Quds newspaper, Solaf wonders why such silly rumors are spreading and adds “is it so easy nowadays for someone to ruin people homes!”

The rumors started spreading after Solaf bought a house in Cairo to live in it with her mother and son. Solaf explains that she got a house in Cairo at the Six OF October City, but it was for rent she did not buy it. Solaf wanted to feel stability while staying in Cairo during her work there. She went ahead with renting a house in Egypt during the filming of the movie “Baby Doll Night”, which she’s taking a leading role in. Solaf says that she hates staying in hotels, because she wants to do things by herself like cooking, cleaning and so on.

Solaf adds that her husband was with her when she rented the house, but he had to leave since he is a director and he has his own work to do. Solaf says that her husband can’t leave his work and stay besides her doing nothing.

On her side Solaf says that she won’t answer the satellite channel that started the silly rumor; she says that she has no time to so and it is enough for her to meet up with one reporter and tell him the truth.

On a more personal note, Solaf is going through a rough time after the loss of her sister and despite her grief Solaf is still going ahead with being part of the Peeking Olympic Games for 2008. Solaf will be holding the torch light in Oman on the 14th of April. She was chosen by the international company Samsung because she is such a glamorous actress that is loved by many in the Arab world.
