Clearly Kuwaiti actress Suad Abdullah doesn't tackle roles that appear similar to ones she's dominated before. After describing her work on the Ramadan 2014 drama "Al Wajiha" as a game changer for her career, her very latest theatrical installment is also said to be different than anything she's done in the past. She currently filming the new drama "Thuraya" written by Nouf Al Madaf and directed by actor Mohammad Daham Al Shamri.
According to Laha Magazine, the "Donia's Sisters" star revealed her "unique" character in "Thuraya" strays from the norms of society's ethics and ideologies and goes the distance to achieve her goals. Even though she has to push against the current, she still strives to get what she wants. What in the world that means is exactly still remains a mystery.
Al Shamri stated that working with Suad places a big responsibility on his part to present a drama that is of the highest standards.
The top-notch drama co-starring Zahra Al Kharji, Fahed Al Abed Muhsin, Amal Al Awadi, and Fatima Al Hasuni will also be aired during this year's holy month.
