Sulafa Memar has joined the league of actors and directors who've had to leave Syria during the current crisis. Sadly, the political instability and lack of security in Syria has caused many in the film industry to transfer their life and work to Lebanon for the time being.
After splitting with her husband last year, the acclaimed actress also had to part ways with her homeland to star in two new dramas “Al Uboor” (The Entry) and “Sanoud Baed Qalil” (We Will Return Shortly) in prep for the Ramadan drama marathon.
Sulafa will be working alongside hot shots Abbas Al Nouri, Jihad Saed, Basel Khayat, Qais Al Shaikh Najeeb and a number of other wicked sweet Lebanese actors on the set of ‘The Entry’ directed by Abeer Asbar. According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, the social drama will throw the faces of Sulafa and Basel together on the screen for the first time since “Al Ghufran” (The Forgiveness) way back in the day.
