She has stirred up more than a little controversy in the world of acting, but now provocative star, Summaya al Khashab, is set to cause chaos in the music world.
Earlier this year, a group of Muslim Brotherhood lawyers tried to sue her for "encouraging innapropriate behavior" in others. But Summaya shows no signs of slowing down and has already begun recording for her new album. The first single, called 'Ya Miskeen' (Poor You) will be out soon as the actress keeps her nose to the recording studio grindstone to complete the rest of the tunes.
The Egyptian star decided to get out of her comfort zone and sing in the Khaliji (Gulf region) dialect for her debut. Summaya said she decided to get away from her natural dialect to satisfy demands from her fans in and around the UAE.
