Lebanese singer Suzan Tamim and the producer of her upcoming music video were shocked when they received a warning to halt filming or face legal action.
The singer is still bound by a contract to Adel Ma'touq, Suzan’s former business manager and ex-husband.

Suzan contracted with a well known producer to film the new clip, in addition to a director and a hair specialist from France, hoping that she would be able to move on with her career.

After receiving the complaint the producer withdrew temporarily, not wanting to be involved in legal matters.

Suzan is placing the final touches on her upcoming album and recently joined production company ‘Alam El Phan’ after ending her contract with ‘Rotana.’ The singer had received a generous offer from owner Muhsin Jaber and immediately agreed.

Recently, Suzan was indicted by The Egyptian Interpol based on a Lebanese request, but she was later released after the Lebanese Embassy in Cairo ordered her acquittal.

Adel filed a lawsuit accusing Suzan of stealing 350 thousand US dollars and fleeing to Egypt. He stressed that he is determined to have her prosecuted, claiming that she broke the contract between them.

Adel has been haunting Suzan for over a year now, claiming that she is legally married to him and that he has the right to prohibit her from leaving Lebanon.
