Insanely popular Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny is now in vogue.
Which is to say that he’s the first Arab male actor and singer to grace the magazine cover.
This is because Vogue Arabia has launched Vogue Man Arabia, a special October men’s fashion and lifestyle issue in the off-chance men care about looking fashionable.

Hosny first came to prominence with the 2006 album “Hob” (Love), which saw him established as a de facto love singer. He saw a brief moment of international prominence by appearing alongside Akon and Pitbull in a song entitled “Arabian Knight,” as well as in a video with Snoop Dogg.
The magazine cited Hosny’s popularity and sense of fashion as their reason for their choice, though you could, to be fair, argue that Hosny’s star doesn’t shine quite as bright as it’s made out to be.
