It might seem obvious to some that intimate scenes would be inappropriate for Egyptian satellite channel Al Hayat, but omitting them was certainly not a part of the contract they signed with the makers of "Al Musafer" (The Traveler).

According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, sources revealed that Film Director Ahmad Maher will be suing the channel for airing the flick without the controversial scenes between Lebanese actress Cyrine Abdelnour and Egyptian actor Khaled Al Nabawi, which had caused commotion at the censorship committee when the film was first screened.

The film starring legendary actor Omar Al Sharif did not achieve the expected success during its first screening. Surprise, surprise.
