Sarah Jessica Parker is an icon of eclectic fashion, but she has great sense of humour to match.
The 50-year-old actress was chuckling all the way during a sidewalk interview with Funny Or Die's Billy On The Street - aka Billy Eichner - in New York City.
Billy took issue with Sex And The City 2, which he admitted he liked but got reamed by the movie critics after it came out in 2010.
Sarah Jessica tossed her long, golden-brown tresses with a smile and threw out another little fact, that the second feature film reeled in a ton of money.
In actuality, Sex And The City 2 made $288,347,692 worldwide, making it the most successful romantic comedy of the year.
'When it came out it had a lot of criticism,' Billy began.
'That's what I understand. I didn't read it, but I gleaned from the look on people's faces,' Sarah Jessica shot back in good humour.
'I never understood it, I swear,' Billy went on. 'It always made me so angry and I was wondering how that affected you or do you care or do not care because it made me very upset... I enjoyed everything Sex and the City.
'Maybe it was a little over the top, a road trip movie. They went to the Middle East. Did it affect you?'
Sarah Jessica, who had been bobbing and weaving in her shoes in an effort to stifle the giggles, told Billy: 'I think what was surprising was the level of vitriol that I understood was leveled at it.'
Billy broke in: 'Here’s what I think. I think that that show had dealt so well, in such a smart, sharp way in dissecting guys that I think bros, all the bros out there really liked the chance to jump on it finally to a certain degree.'
'I think so,' Sarah Jessica conceded.
'And people said, "I don’t believe them going to the Middle East." I have one guy, a friend of mine who’s into sci-fi, he’s like, "It’s not believable they go to the Middle East."
'I said, "Oh you can’t believe they go to the Middle East, but you believe in f****ing Chewbacca, you f***ing turd? You’ll believe anything that happens on some planet George Lucas made up, but you can’t believe that Kim Cattrall would film for a few weeks in Morocco?"
'I’m serious. I’m so glad to finally be getting this off my chest,” Billy ranted. 'Do you know what I mean?'
'I do,' the actress said between fits of laughter. 'You’re saying things I never would have the courage to say.'
'Anyway, I liked the movie and I hope you do another one,' Billy said.
'It did make an enormous amount of cash,' Sarah Jessica informed him, happily it would seem.
Billy went on to rant: 'Oh, why don't you shove that down our faces. We know you're very rich. It doesn't explain why you're begging people to buy your shoes.'
'I should have prepared myself for this,' the star quipped.
The actress took to her Instagram page to share a picture of her sidewalk interview with Billy and write: 'See that look in my eyes? It's what I know we all feel about @billyeichner...
'So there I was, standing side by side with him, getting yelled at by him (oh the joy) running the streets of NYC with him, a dream come true. And all captured on film. Or a teeny digital card.'
Parker went on: 'Point is, apparently it's hitting the "airwaves" and you can watch me be his obedient guest and devoted fan. Thursday, December 17th at 10:30p on @TruTV. If you want. X, SJ'
Sarah Jessica, meanwhile, is currently shooting her new show Divorce for HBO, the same network that housed her wildly popular series Sex And The City for six seasons.
In Divorce, Sarah plays a woman named Frances who suggests a separation ith her husband but doesn't know if she can go through with it.
Her husband, played by Thomas Haden Church, 55, ultimately agrees to a split after he discovers her affair.
The show also co-stars Molly Shannon, 51, as Frances' single friend.
In addition to running a busy family life and full-time career, the Failure To Launch star - and lover of shoes - started her footwear line in 2014 named the SJP collection.
