Egyptian actress Nabila Ebeid has been selected as a jury member at the International Festival of Romantic Films to be held in the Belgian city of Mons Feb. 16-23, according to the Arabic daily Al Ahram.
Festival head Andreh Kotrik emphasized that Egypt would be the main subject of the 18th session of the festival, adding that Ebeid has been chosen “for her distinguished position in the Egyptian cinema.”
The festival was founded in 1985 by Eliudi Rebo. It aims at producing films steeped in humanitarian and romantic values.
The jury gives Crystal awards to the best film, actor, actress, director and scenarist – Albawaba.com
