Eli Degibri, one of Israel’s most well known and respected jazz artists, has been invited to take part in the International Jazz Day 2016 All-Star Global Concert at the White House on April 30.
The concert will also feature internationally renowned jazz artists such as Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Buddy Guy, Pat Metheny and Lee Ritenour. Among the vocalists are Dee Dee Bridgewater, Aretha Franklin, Al Jarreau, Diana Krall and Sting.
Known for his charismatic performances, Degibri has recorded and performed extensively since the mid 1990s.
Since 2011, Degibri, together with Dubi Lenz, has been the artistic director of the prestigious Red Sea Jazz Festival.
