Sources close to Ahmed Helmy have revealed which lucky star was the first to receive a phone call from the actor upon his return home to Egypt. The comedian wasn't doing any funny business during his time abroad, but instead had an operation performed to remove a cancerous tumor from his back.
Fortunately, Ahmed came out A-ok, but many celebs were super concerned when he made the shocking announcement from overseas.
Sweet actress Nadia Lufti was apparently one of the most determined to reach out to the traveling Ahmed, and sources say she was the one the "Made in Egypt" star phoned first when he got back in country.
Ahmed told Nadia that he is very grateful to her for her constant question about him and her extreme worry over his condition, reports Al Jaras Magazine.
