Sticking to the mantra that to be a star you have to look like one, this week the X Factor Arabia contestants managed to look remarkably better than in previous rounds.
Not only were they glossier-haired and sharper-suited, they also impressed the judges with their improved singing voices too. Stand out wannabes were Adham al Nabulsi from judge Wael Kfoury's team and Ibrahim Abdul Athem in UAE judge Hussein al Jasmi's group.
But despite the smooth running among the young hopefuls, the infamous judges were back to their old tricks and sniping at each other on set.
This time it was slick songstress, Carole Samaha and 'Lips of Lebanon', Elissa. When Carole lashed out at one of Elissa's contestants - Eman al Karakebo - the Lebanese star came to his defense. However, the pair managed to simmer down and were BFFs again by the time Friday's show began.
On day 2 of the third set of live rounds, all eyes were on special guest star, Angham. The Egyptian songstress has been courting controversy this year, saying she was happy to live as a single mom and wouldn't be looking for a man anytime soon.
Up first was a rendition of Lebanese diva extraordinaire, Fairuz's famous song, Hadeer al Busta. But after the audience pleaser, the wannabes were on to being judged for real in their solo sets.
The two contestants with the fewest votes this week were Omani contestant Muntaser Billah, from Wael Kfouri's team and Tunisian group, Les Bledards Ninja on Carol Samah's team.
It was a blow for the Tunisians who have gone a second week running in the last two and unlike last week, they couldn't be saved this time by the judges.
So with ten remaining contestants, X Factor is really hotting up as the competition starts to get fierce!
