Egyptian artist Yusra is negotiating with Egyptian TV’s brigades of bureaucrats to present a program next Ramadan.

Yusra told the London-based daily Al Sharq Al awsat that she had agreed in principle on the subject, encouraged by her admiration of the program presented by Syrian star Dureid Lahham and the great success he has recently achieved.

But the actress wants to ensure the availability of the financial resources that suit her, the time of presentation and adequate promotion.

Yusra added that she had not decided on the form, name and contents of the program, which won’t be decided upon before the final agreement.

Meanwhile, the actress is gearing up for a film in collaboration with her two close friends: the announcer and producer Hala Sarhan, who will write the film script in her debut, and director Enas Al Degheidi.

Regarding her participation in the TV concerts, Yusra said that contacts were being made and the matter required careful preparation because singing on the stage was so difficult.

Yusra has wrapped up shooting the video for her song Khalli Al Nas Thebb (Let People Love), directed by Enas Al Degheidi and filmed by Mohsen Ahmed.

The artist has decided to collect six of her film soundtrack songs in an album and add to them three new ones, including Al Leila Hulleileh, Khalli Al Nas Thebb and Yadi Habibi, written by Walid Al Shaeri and composed by Hamid Al Shaeri.

The Radio and TV Selection Committee has accredited Yusra to sing in the eastern as well as the western style, since she will sing Khalli Al Nas Thebb in Arabic, English and French. She translated the song into French all by herself - Albawaba.com
