Egyptian TV director Shukri Abu Emairah has convinced the actress Yusra to sing in a televised night concert at the Roman Theater at the North Coast Marina Resort.

“I previously presented Suad Hosni, Sharihan and Ferdaws Abdel Hamid [here at the] theater, where they succeeded. I have agreed with Yusra that she will sing at one of the televised night concerts, which will be held in the Marina area in Alexandria every Thursday of each week until the end of summer,” Abu Emirah told the London-based daily Al Sharq Al Awsat.

The director previously managed to convince the late artist Hosni to debut her voice on the stage in 1985, when she sang her famed song Choclate.

Yusra passed her singing test a few days ago before the radio listening committee, which confirmed her competency for singing and considered her as a promising talent.

Furthermore, she secured the approval of the Egyptian censors to release her new album, entitled Hello, in which composer Hussein Al Imam participated - Albawaba.com
