HTC Corporation, a global leader in mobile innovation and design, announced that the first ever HTC Flyer Tablet is now available in the UAE. The HTC Flyer Tablet is retailed for AED 2999 (for the WiFi/3G version with 32GB Internal memory) and is now available across all leading retail chains in the country.

“The HTC Flyer Tablet was created to bring its customers cutting-edge innovation in simple and natural ways that makes sense. HTC brings intelligence and innovation to the industry – bridging the gap between the segment and functional sophistication of this tablet category. With such a sleek design, accessible applications for all purposes and users, and impressive features to make a person’s life easier, work or play, the HTC Flyer technology is set to impress customers completely” said Mohamed Kais Zribi, Regional Manager, HTC Middle East and North Africa.

Using HTC Sense to offer a unique consumer‐friendly approach technology to tablets that has never been initiated before, the HTC Flyer is designed to surprise and delight people with countless novel and intelligent features. Conveniently compact and light for travel, yet amazingly powerful, the HTC Flyer tablet with a seven inch touch‐sensitive 3D display and a superfast 1.5 GHz processor is perfect for web browsing at home, in the car or on a business trip. Additionally, a unique carousel of widgets puts a user’s most important content and information at the visual center of the experience. And best of all, the HTC Flyer tablet also offers uncompromised web browsing with Flash 10 and HTML 5.

“We’re thrilled that HTC’s first tablet is now available in Dubai and will subsequently be rolled out across the Middle East. When we started to create the HTC Flyer, we did not only want to build another gadget, but something that would change people’s life. What we succeeded in achieving was a potent all‐purpose tablet that offered an unbeatable comfortable user‐friendly experience anywhere you choose to use it,” commented Neeraj Seth, Regional Marketing Manager, HTC Middle East and North Africa.

The HTC Flyer is also the first tablet in the world to ever feature the HTC Scribe technology. HTC Scribe Technology transforms traditional note‐taking into smart note‐taking by integrating natural onscreen writing with thoughtful and integrated innovations. It’s a magic pen that can transform into any scribing tool to draw, paint, write, and retouch pictures, and can even be used as a highlighter for the reader collating all your highlighted segments when you are finished. HTC Flyer’s Scribe technology can link audio to the notes you take for work, and it can add voiceover to a storybook you're drawing up at home. We have all been in a situation when we took notes at a meeting, and then returned to the office only to find ourselves unable to figure out what we wrote. HTC Flyer’s revolutionary Timemark feature enables you to capture the audio of a meeting in line with your written notes. So tapping on a word in your notes instantly takes you to that exact place in time in the audio recording of the meeting.
