HBMeU to discuss key advantages of electronic education at GETEX Dubai 2011

Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU), a leader in the field of e-Learning and quality management in the Arab World, has announced that it will leverage the event platform of GETEX Dubai 2011, the Middle East and Asia's leading education, training and professional development event, to highlight the distinct benefits of electronic learning to an audience of over 30,000 visitors from across the Middle East who are expected to attend the three day event starting on April 14 in Dubai. HBMeU stand A200 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre will have senior representatives who will explain in detail the various aspects of electronic education and more specifically about the different programs offered by the e-University.   

Commenting on their participation in the event, Prof. Nabil Baydoun, Enterprise and Development, Assistant Chancellor, said, “GETEX Dubai serves as an important platform for Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University to generate greater awareness about the advantages of e-learning in the region. The event facilitates the sharing of knowledge and best practices especially with regard to the latest learning methodologies and the various applications of educational technology that will enhance the teaching and learning experience. The event will also allow HBMeU to underline its reputation as a leader in e-learning and quality management in the Arab World, while emphasizing our role in preparing learners socially and academically to have brighter career prospects in the future.” 

During the three day event, HBMeU will showcase various aspects of its e-learning environment and also provide details of its new virtual campus. The university will also be hosting a free seminar on April 16^th where it will provide an introduction to HBMeU, specifically focusing on its Life Long Learning model and the Blended Learning Approach. Further, HBMeU will also be participating in the Excellence in Business & Finance Forum 2011 that will be held on April 15th.
