HBMeU's e-Career Fair hosts 25 institutions and 965 registered users

Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU), a leader in the field of e-Learning and quality management in the Arab World, has announced that 25 exhibitors and at least 965 registered users took part in the highly successful inaugural edition of the HBMeU e-Career Fair, held recently under the banner “Innovative Ways to Explore New Career Options”. The HBMeU e-Career Fair was the first event of its kind to be organised and hosted by a university in the UAE. 

Authorities and establishments from both the public and private sectors participated as exhibitors of the HBMeU e-Career Fair, which provided a platform for electronic communication and interaction between university students and representatives of the exhibitors. 

A total of 2,317 visits were registered by the e-Career Fair, which hosted electronic booths from HBMeU, Tamaiaz and Falak Tayyeb award, Dubai Aluminium (DUBAL), Wasl, National Bank of Fujairah, Dunia, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, S. S. Lootah, Tanmia, DEWA, Dubai Courts, Dubai's Professional Trading Group, Index Conference & Exhibitions, Dubai Municipality, Dubai World, Economic Zones World, Dubai Autism Centre, Executive Solutions, DIAC, Zayed University, Institute of Management Technology – Dubai, BITS Pilani University, SZABIST University, and Higher Colleges of Technology. 

Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of HBMeU, said: “The success of the e-Career Fair underlines the important role of information technology in creating exciting possibilities in the job market. The e-Career Fair provided an innovative solution for government and private sector entities to scout for potential employees and interact with university students without having to worry about huge costs or significant logistical challenges. HBMeU will build on the success of the e-Career Fair to develop more innovative solutions that will help improve the operational efficiency, productivity and performance of various sectors of the society." 

For her part, Rehab Lootah, CEO of Tamaiaz and Falak Tayyeb award, said: "The e-Career Fair organized by Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University was an innovative and unprecedented initiative among universities in the GCC.
