ALBAWABA - At least seven people were killed, and about 35 others were wounded in Houthi shelling of Al-Makha port and residential areas, Yemeni government media reported, citing a medical source.

Earlier on Sunday, the Houthi group attacked Al-Mokha port, which is under the control of the internationally recognized Yemeni government, with a number of drones.

According to Sky News, six blasts were reported at the Mokha port. The port director confirmed that civilian infrastructure within the port had come under attack

This attack comes amid escalating Houthi attacks, raising concerns about the impact on maritime security and civilian and economic infrastructure, and confirming the militia's continued expansion of its military operations.
