Sudan's Photo Uprising Wins Prestigious Global Award

A photograph from last year’s popular uprising in Sudan has won the prestigious World Press Photo of the Year award. The photo, titled “Straight Voice”, was taken by Japanese AFP photographer Yasuyoshi Chiba.
