Siemens Power Project a Lifeline for Iraq's Struggling Economy

Germany-based Siemens, a global technology powerhouse and Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity have signed an agreement in which Siemens would add 11 gigawatts (GW) of power generation capacity over four years to ensure 23 million Iraqis sustainable electricity.
