In Trump Snub, Erdogan Says 'East Jerusalem is the Capital of Palestine'

“East Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine,” despite all steps taken to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday.

The Fitch statement from Monday -- which some observers interpreted as fairly balanced -- warned that the Turkish economy is not immune from political risks.
