A new crisis has risen for Egyptian superstar Amro Diab with the production company ‘Rotana’ over the singer’s decision to postpone the release of his new album until the end of 2011. The singer was previously scheduled to be complete with the album by December of the current year in order to have it ready for release in March 2011.
The directors of the company refused to accept Amro’s decision and stated the singer is violating the terms of the contract he has with the company. In addition, postponing the album will result in financial losses for the company due to the special preparations, promotional campaign and concerts that were to be held to achieve the profits that were agreed upon according to the contract.
Close contacts of the singer revealed that postponing the album is due to the fact that the singer has not settled on all the songs that are to be included in the album, and Amro wanting to record remixes of the some of the songs with professionals in the United States, a matter that will take a long period of time.
Once the album is released, it will be the last one the singer is to submit to ‘Rotana’ according to the contract he had signed with the company. The first album was released in 2009 titled “Wayah” (With Him) and the second was a mini album the singer released in the summer of 2010 titled “Aslaha Bitifriq” (It makes a difference).
