Egypt has been flooded with outrage and sadness this week following last Friday’s militant attacks against Egyptian military targets in North Sinai, which claimed the lives of dozens of soldiers and civilians.
Despite our grief, it is exceptionally heartwarming when a celebrity has a platform and uses it to express his true patriotic feelings to the entire Middle East.
Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmy was scheduled to appear on this past week’s Arabs Got Talent episode, which was the first elimination round. He first planned not to attend, but fortunately for all of us, he did as we got to hear this incredibly inspirational speech.
