Hana Shiha is talking divorce.
In an interview on the CBC program This is the Capital (“Huna al-Assima”), the Egyptian actress got into the nitty-gritty of failed marriages, stating that she left her marriage because—in a revelation that sent shockwaves rippling through the social stratosphere—it was an unhappy marriage.
Worried, then, that her children—Adam (15 years old) and Malek (12 years old)—would grow-up witnessing an unhappy marriage, she chose for them to grow-up without marriage at all.
In the same interview, the actress stated she was handling her children’s material needs.
Following a lawsuit from her designer husband ten years ago, following the divorce, her children have been unable to board a plane for the past three years; they’ll be able to board planes after adulthood.
In a display of healthy relationships, she made sure to inform her children that their father was responsible.
