After an absence that lasted over eight years from the concert scenes, prominent Lebanese singer Najwa Karam performed live at the Egyptian touristic city of Sharm El Sheikh alongside Lebanese singer Rami Ayash on the third day of the Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha.
The event was attended by the head of the Egyptian Musician Union, Muneer Al Wasmi, along with a crowd of over three thousand. According to the London based Elaph, Najwa was amazed by the reaction of her Egyptian fans and had no prior knowledge that she was loved to the point that she had so many fans in Egypt.
The event was started off by Rami, who had performed a collection of his most popular songs. Rami sang for a period of one hour, whereas Najwa performed for over 90 minutes. Najwa was greeted by crowds of Egyptian fans upon her arrival at the airport in Sharm El Sheikh and was presented with flowers. Fans took memorable pictures of their beloved Lebanese singer and many were able to get her autograph.
