Fingers are being pointed at Egyptian actress Yusra and the makers of her latest television drama “Bil Shami’ al Ahmar” (Red Wax) for imitating the American drama “The Closer”, which stars American actress Kyra Sedgwick and had received an Emmy award this year.
On the show “The Closer”, Kyra plays the role of Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson, which is the same role Yusra plays in her drama and all the other leading roles are similar characters to those on the show “The Closer”.
In addition, Yusra’s appearance in the show is a replica of Kyra’s character to the point where the hairstyle, the eye glasses and the style of cloths are the same.
The script of the drama is written by a Mariam Na’um, Nadine Shams and Najla’ Al Hadini, and directed by Sameer Saif. Jamal Al Adel produces the drama that also stars Hisham Abd Al Hameed, Shireen, Mohammad Imam and a group of young actors.
