If you're Egyptian and weren't thinking about voting in the Presidential elections this month, then UAE singer Hussain Al Jasmi's latest single may have persuaded you otherwise!
The singer's "Boshret Khair" (Good News), which encourages Egyptians to vote in a positive and fun way, has been a huge hit with Al Jasmi's fans.
The single gained over a whopping 10 million views since its YouTube launch on May 16, and it will no doubt get many more by the end of the elections!
Let's hope it gets that many people to take part in the voting process as well!
"Good News" was filmed very much in the style of Pharrell's "Happy," which has taken the world by storm. Hussain's video features Egyptians dancing happily around all over the streets of Egypt while holding posters with messages encouraging Egyptians to vote, messages of hope and their city's name.
The lively song was written by Ayman Bahjat Qamar, composed by Amro Mustafa and distributed by "Tuma."
