After 18 months of negotiations, and a "final" deadline that's been pushed back four times, Iran and the world powers say they're incredibly close to a deal. Close enough to fool Iran, apparently.
Iran jumped the gun on Monday when a social media manager tweeted from the official account of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. It was deleted shortly afterward.

Moments later Rouhani's account tweeted about the deal again with more conditional language, saying "if" the deal is made, it would be a "triumph of diplomacy."
If #IranDeal, victory of diplomacy and mutual respect over outdated paradigm of exclusion and coercion. And this will be good beginning.

Rouhani also canceled a televised speech planned for Monday evening, presumably to announce that an agreement had been struck.
