MEC Interaction to launch in Jordan as part of the Menacom Group

MEC Global, a leading global agency specializing in media communications, recently announced the upcoming launch of its specialist unit — MEC Interaction — in Jordan, which is slated for February 1st 2011.
MEC Interaction is a convergent strategy and digital solutions unit, offering an assortment of integrated services under the six prime focal points of strategy, search, content, insight, analytics and customer acquisition. The unit is launching in Jordan as part of the Menacom Group — one of the most prominent communications conglomerates in the Middle East and North Africa — with a versatile solutions lineup that has been developed to complement the existing services offered by Menacom’s communication agencies.
“Successful advertising agencies are primarily vested in creating ‘big’ ideas that are then communicated through the right mediums, and we at Menacom Jordan continually achieve this through the right combination of creative prowess and technical know-how,” commented Sharif Abukhadra, the Chairman of Menacom Jordan. “The establishment of MEC Interaction in Jordan falls in line with our vision of providing an inventive lineup of 360-degree solutions. The unit will support our operations at Menacom with a rich selection of add-on services that will undoubtedly bolster the value of our offerings.”
The services offered by MEC Interaction work across the full range of digital platforms, employing a uniquely holistic approach to communication so as to maximize return on investment. The unit’s selection of online and social media, harnesses the full power of content development and management to create powerful, far-reaching campaigns geared toward multiple user groups. The unit also covers a considerable range of specialist skills to push the boundaries of search capabilities, offering services such as paid search, search-engine optimization (SEO), social and universal search.
In the arena of analytics and optimization, the unit will offer a robust, three-tiered service package that helps clients outline their business optimization objectives faster, with less risk and at a lower cost through an effective information management strategy. The package helps organizations gauge the vast proliferation of data to their advantage to achieve competitive value.
Additionally, the unit will offer a host of mobile, gaming and digital content, drawing on MEC Global’s longstanding experience to utilize the full scope of these emerging content platforms. These services, which are already playing a central role in global communications, will help clients empower their brands by reaching various user demographics with potent marketing and advertising applications.
“We are excited about the prospect of bringing MEC Interaction’s rich service lineup to the Jordanian market,” commented Marc Ghosn, MEC Interaction’s Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa. “Jordan will be the second market to host MEC Interaction after Dubai and this is a strong indicator of the direction the Kingdom’s media and communications industry is taking. We are confident that the unit will add value to Menacom Jordan’s already impressive service lineup, showcasing the limitless potential that lies in the Kingdom’s ever-growing media frontier.”
Menacom Jordan organized a group-wide workshop to outline to the employees of its various agencies the process under which MEC Interaction’s services will be integrated into the group’s existing lineup. The workshop, which took place on the 17th and 18th of January 2011, covered a series of comprehensive transfer-of-knowledge sessions from MEC Interaction’s offices in London and Dubai in order to ensure a seamless integration.
