Mobily's new subscribers get free internet access during Ramadan

Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) said it has offered its new subscribers to "Connect Laptop" package a free internet access from 4 AM to 7 PM during Ramadan.

In a statement issued by the company on Friday, new subscribers can enjoy the offer once they subscribe after they visit the company's outlets that are located in all wide Kingdom regions while the current subscribers also can get same offer by paying SAR 20 for GB bundle and SAR 25 for the 2 GB.

Earlier this year, Mobily slashed internet prices after reducing the 2 GB bundle to SAR 60 and the 5 GB to SAR 100.

The company which prepares for the launch of LTE has more than 2.3 million subscribed to  Mobily's three high-volume mobile broadband bundles: the 1 gigabyte bundle, the 5 gigabyte bundle, and the unlimited bundle. 

Today, mobile broadband service, based on (HSPA/ HSPA+), is available in 93% of all populated areas of the Kingdom to any Mobily customer using a device that supports HSPA/HSPA+ technology, whether that be a USB modem or handset.

Monthly traffic, upload and downloaded by customers, has grown in 2010 to reach more than 80 terabytes compared by 50 terabytes for December 2009.
