Prominent UAE singer Hussein Al Jasmi has completed recording the theme song for the new television drama “Ahil Al Cairo” (The People of Cairo) starring actor Khaled Al Sawi, which is scheduled to be aired during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
The media spokesperson for the drama revealed that the director of the drama insisted on having Al Jasmi sing the theme song because he felt he was the most suitable person for it. The theme song is written by Ayman Bahgat Qamar and composed by Waleed Saed.
The last theme Al Jasmi had sung for a television drama was in the year 2008 for the drama “Ba’ed Al Furaq” (After Separating) which starred Khaled Saleh and Hind Sabri.
