‘new look’ for mother baby & child show
European retailer chooses TV characters, fashion shows, music, fun and games to launch new trendy children’s & maternity wear range
Leading European retailer New Look will be presenting its new maternity and children’s wear collection on the catwalk, as a part of its participation at the three day Mother, Baby and Child Show 2007.
Organised by The Main Event (TME) the show takes place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre on 16 -18 December 2007, where New Look’s latest Children’s wear range for kids up to ten years of age will be presented during a dedicated fashion show.
To accentuate the cut and colours of their new children’s range, New Look has arranged a hair stylist to show mums how to accessorise outfits with coloured hairsprays, as well as a face-painter to keep the toddlers occupied.
In addition New Look is also sponsoring the breast feeding area at the show, and will have stylish maternity wear under the brand name ’Bloom’ on view.
The event promises three days full of fun and games for all of the family. Event organiser TME has put together an all-new and exciting schedule which includes the popular TV characters Power Rangers, Barbie, Postman Pat and many more…
“One lucky girl will win a host of Barbie goodies in the Barbie parade. Girls up to the age of 7 will be invited to come and join the fashion parade in their best Barbie outfits,” said Shannon Norris, Exhibition Director, TME
There will also be competitions with thousands of Dirhams’ worth of fabulous prizes up for grabs from New Boy, Ski Dubai and Viva Entertainment amongst others. The star prize however remains two return tickets to Malaysia courtesy of Malaysia Airways.
Last year the Mother Baby & Child event attracted over 30,000 visitors over three days and in excess of 130 brands, retailers and entertainment providers, covering more than 4,000 square metres are expected to participate this year.
