‘UAE’s Office Flooring Market Hits AED 1 Billion’ Says Leading European Company
German Manufacturer Parador Places the Emirates in the Top Ten Most Lucrative Markets
A decade of unrivaled growth across the Middle East has made it one of the most important markets for the world’s flooring manufacturers, according to one Europe-based company.
German floor makers Parador say that only the very highest quality brands will be able to compete for the estimated AED 1 billion market, as consumers become ever more insistent on the latest products.
“It is so important for global floor companies selling here in Dubai to properly understand the needs of the Middle East,” said Parador’s Erno Nemeth.“Multinational corporations, who relocate to Dubai for example, arrive with certain interior design brand standards to which they must adhere, and they will only accept the highest quality products.”
With the amount of floor space in apartments and offices doubling in recent years, there is more demand than ever before, and hundreds of companies will gather next week at Domotex, the Dubai exhibition showcasing the world’s best flooring, to discuss future trends.
To more effectively penetrate the Gulf region, Parador has entered into a long standing sales agreement Dubai’s leading office furniture supplier, OFIS.
“We offer critical local expertise to our customers, and Parador appreciates the value OFIS adds to the sales process,” said OFIS sales manager, Vaneesh Malhotra.
OFIS is the only supplier of major international brands including Parador, INTERFACE, Beaulieu of America, DVO, Zuco, and Bosse.
OFIS supplies many major companies across the Middle East, including Norr Group, Burthill, KCA, WA International, Design Design, Broadway Interiors, Holford Asso, RMJM, BSBG, City Space, HSBC, Mashreq Bank, Citi Bank, Union National Bank, Shell, Unilever, DHL and Dubai Airport.
