1 million saudi riyals every night during ramadan:rotana mousica’s gift to its viewrs

In a unique and enlightening Ramadan array of shows, Rotana Mousica presents its latest with the launch of its new game show, 'Kol Yawm Malyoun' presented by Kuwaiti TV presenter Barakat Al Wuqayan.  Kol Yom Malyoun is a new concept in game show production where participation is open for at home viewers and contestants on stage simultaneously.

Kol Yom Malyoun brings together 100 contestants every night from across the Arab world to compete against each other during the 30 episodes to be aired on Rotana Mousica.  At home viewers will support the contestants and help them reach the peak and win during this creative culturally inspiring competition that’s widely distinctive from the regular TV competitions.  Each contestant starts with an initial amount of SR 1,000 and must answer seven rounds of multiple choice questions (three choices).  In each round, contestants who are the slowest to answer or give the most wrong answers are eliminated and their money is distributed over the remaining contestants.  This elimination process continues until only two contestants are left standing.  The two contestants then battle it out to declare the finalist who will take home the guaranteed jackpot amount of SR 100,000. This finalist then continues through the seventh and last round of questions – the Million Riyal Round - which qualifies him or her to go for the big jackpot of SR 900,000 by correctly answering five questions, thus having the chance to in win the total amount of SR One Million.

To add to the excitement, throughout the game there is an additional element that enables viewers at home to participate in the show with the chance to win 50 percent of the studio winner’s total jackpot.  This is achieved by having viewers call the show and submit themselves and a number of their friends or family to form a NUT (group).  Each qualifying NUT gets assigned randomly by the show’s producers to a studio contestant.  During the ‘Million Riyal Round’, the finalist will be assisted by his or her NUT to answer correctly.  At the end, should the contestant answer correctly to all questions in the Final Round, he or she wins SR One Million and walks away with 50 percent of the amount, the other half being be shared equally among the members of his or her NUT.

Interactivity between home viewers and the studio contestants brings a thrilling new dimension to the game show genre and 'Kol Yawm Malyoun' is sure to achieve its objective of garnering unprecedented high prime time ratings for Rotana during this Ramadan.
