Eleven people were feared dead after a passenger bus plunged into a river when it was hit by a truck in southwest Nigeria, press reports said Tuesday.
The accident occurred on Monday night when a speeding truck rammed into the bus, pushing it into the Ikpoba river, near the Edo State capital Benin, the Comet and other papers reported.
Eleven passengers were feared killed as none of the bodies had been recovered, the papers said.
The two occupants of the truck sustained no injuries in the crash -- LAGOS, (AFP)
