An estimated 150 foreigners arrested recently on Iran's borders with Pakistan are not members of the al-Qaeda terror network, according to Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi.
"We are waiting to repatriate the 150 people arrested recently on the Pakistani border. There is no member of al-Qaeda among them," Kharazi told a press conference on Monday, according to AFP.
"It is possible that some of these people supported one group or another but according to our inquiries there are no members of al-Qaeda," he added. (Albawaba.com)
