A recent study by Zajil, one of the Internet service providers in the Saudi Arabia, showed that some 450,000 Saudi women have subscribed to Internet services since they were introduced into the Kingdom.
The average female subscriber spends 30 hours per month on the network, and most are aged between 18 and 30 years old, the study said.
Women account for 45 percent of Internet subscriptions in Saudi, much higher than in Western countries where female use of the Internet is generally far behind the men, said the report – Albawaba.com
