The 6th ASEAN Gulf Golf Championship, an initiative that gathers dignitaries for a friendly game of golf with aims of strengthening friendship and camaraderie among ASEAN member countries, is set to kick off on April 04, 2008 at the Tower Links Golf Club, Ras Al Khaimah. Over 85 dignitaries and expatriate golfers will be competing in the following categories: 'A' Division (Men), 'B' Division (Men), ‘A’ Division (Women), ‘B’ Division (Women), and a ‘Guest’ Division for golf enthusiasts from non-member countries.
The day’s event will start with the registration from 10 AM to 1 PM, which will be followed by the shotgun tee-off at 1:45 PM. Winners and runner-ups will be awarded during a dinner program at 7:30 pm. The tournament is being organized by My Curves Events, a leading event management company in Dubai and is supported by local companies, including Prime Express and LCL Interiors, who will be participating as the event’s official courier partner and gold sponsor respectively.
