9th World Scout Youth Forum in progress

The 9th World Scout Youth Forum started on Monday August 29 in Hammemet. La Presse reports the National Scout Organization of Tunisia hosts the Forum, which is being held just prior to the 37th World Scout Conference from 5 to 9 September with the participation of 200 young people from 120 countries. Mohamed Triki, the head of the National Scout Organization of Tunisia held a press conference on August 28 and outlined the topics to be discussed in the Forum. Triki said that the representatives of the UN will be present in the event, adding that the World Scout Youth Forum provides a dual opportunity for young members to discuss and express their views on problems they encounter as well as the opportunity to make recommendations for the World Scout Conference.
