Yemen’s President Ali Abdullah Saleh phoned Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince, deputy supreme commander for armed forces in the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahayan.
During their conversation, they exchanged views on the brotherly relations between Yemen and the UAE and aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries as well as means of strengthening them.
They also discussed Arab and international developments of joint concern. According to Yemen news agency, President Saleh asked Sheikh Khalifa to convey his regards to UAE President Sheikh Zayid bin Sultan Al-Nuhayyan and wishes for his good health and happiness and for the people of the UAE further progress and prosperity.
